Today we will be discussing BREXIT, Britain’s planned exit from the European Union. What exactly is BREXIT? Where is the process at now, what exactly is a BREXIT “deal”? And what are the ramifications of BREXIT on Europe and the world?
To help us answer these questions, today on the podcast we are joined by Professor Katie Hindmarch-Watson. Professor Hindmarch-Watson is an Assistant Professor in the History Department at Johns Hopkins University. Professor Hindmarch-Watson is a cultural Historian of Britain and the British Empire. Professor Hindmarch-Watson is currently working on the project Dispatches from the Underground: telecommunications workers and the making of an information capital, 1870-1916.
